
Polling in the past week shows the Voice to Parliament referendum Yes vote has fallen to even lower levels. If they are on average correct, I estimate the Yes vote to have dropped to 42.3% on a two-answer basis and to be losing another 1% a week.
The major new polls have been: Newspoll (38% Yes, 53% No, 9% undecided); Essential (42, 48, 10); Redbridge (39% Yes, 61% No using a forced-choice method); Freshwater (41, 59); Resolve (43, 57).
In response, the website arguably still known as Twitter has been even more awash with polling denialism than at other stages in the Yes side’s slide down the slippery slope.
