Thanks DF, when I tried to post my direct link it kept coming out a title that amounted to an ad for a certain financing company, even though when I clicked on it, it took me to the right video – didn’t want to give a company I don’t believe does a good job a free ad.

I guess they’re being delivered up by an evening’s Sky viewing. I have to suppress a smile though because the same people also talk about Russia being Communist.

That’s interesting. Until a few weeks ago I rarely used YouTube, just the occasional music video when I was feeling nostalgic. YouTube always dished me up Sky News and other hard right stuff.

Then I started watching Bulwark podcasts to get another perspective on US politics. The algorithm responded pretty much immediately and Sky, etc disappeared.

Last week something happened and Sky and the like re-appeared for a couple of days but then all the ‘left’ US stuff reappeared and Sky etc disappeared again. I hadn’t changed my viewing at all so I can’t think that I did anything to affect the algorithm’s performance.

The constant message of how wonderful and essential they for Australia must be having an effect. The most sickening and pathetic were Gina Reinhard’s ads.

It’s not that hard even I could do it. They’re proper programmes mainly through NED but not all. Might want to take a proper look at the wire services AP and Reuters. Almost all non western foreign news comes through them. Relatively small and financially vulnerable. What could go wrong ?

The idea that we should allow special pleading for the home of propaganda and political blackmail is ridiculous. The idea that the poor state of US politics is influenced anything more than marginally by Russia even more so.

The article even attempts to convince us that Murdoch et al are being played by those damned Russkies. I think not. So the Russians are giving the Yanks a bit of their own poison propaganda medicine. After what the Yanks have dished up to us just in past few years it’s hard to feel compassion.

That’s a C minus from me.

Yes, I had to play an extended game of whack-a-mole with Jordan Peterson content. Which reinforced my belief, that he’s not being silenced as much as he claims.

If google has ever logged you clicking on a Jordan Peterson video, or standing next to someone who was discussing Jordan Peterson, or walking past a store stocking the books of Jordan Peterson, then you’re doomed to get this stuff for a solid six months unless you completely narrow your YouTube clicks to interviews with Noam Chomsky.

Nah.
The Cold War ended and the top apparatchiks became neoliberal Tsars – perfectly devolved capitalist feudal overlords.
They’re merely exporting the ideology back to countries that have yet to fully rejoin the 1800’s.
