I think Melbourne is secretly covetous of that understated cultural centre that lies a day’s drive to the west. Like the pantless Humphrey B. Bear, Sigley was an Adelaide institution before being lured eastwards. The Adelaide F1 Grand Prix was also seduced away but Victoria jeffed itself when they discovered it was a monstrous money pit.
