Absolutely.
It’s quite easy to understand that 9 years of LNP cuts to staffing is simply being unpicked.

I wouldn’t pay too much attention were I you. Every time I see one of these polls come out with a “two-party preferred” result I roll my eyes and move on. If they’re quoting two-party results they’re predicting the results of a 20th century election and their numbers have been massaged until they’re meaningless. Australia is no longer a two-party nation and a pollster presenting their results that way has just admitted out loud that they are not credible.

Or have the courage to talk about your policies. I have a relative that lost out on the stage 3 tax cuts but overall was made better off due to childcare subsidy changes. Labor just refuses to talk about things they’ve actually done.

In less than 8 months we will have the same choice, except we will have genuine alternatives in the Greens and Independents.

Time to throw this board out.

Don’t worry that govt. spending and population growth are the only things keeping us out of recession. Don’t worry that the cuts are probably going to impede assistance to those doing it tough.

Come on Crikey, lift your game.

Outside of the executive the rest of the Labor MPs are just there to make up the numbers. At least one of them stood up and said that’s not good enough, good on you Fatima Payman.
