Looking after dying parents is another.

Unfortunately some doctors and health carers palm off difficult medical cases to NDIS knowing full well that this is a total fob-off and that these people’s needs cannot be fulfilled under the NDIS charter. And it’s the under supported frontline staff at NDIS who must carry the burden of having to say no.

NDIS was originally a Linda Reynolds portfolio. Should we wonder why Bill Shorten was left with such a total bung fight?

It is a pity that the NDIA can’t employ some doctors, so that they don’t keep asking people with a permanent condition, if they are going to “get better”.

Yes. Many of us do.

We need to get out and influence others in our communities – show them the hypocrisy and encourage them to use their democratic power wisely – to cast their votes firmly away from the Lab/Lib duopoly that has and is failing us, continually.

While he is gainfully employed and lives in his own place, there are still some services that he has no choice but to use because of his disability.

He has quite frequently been asked, both in person and via various forms, to provide evidence that his disability is “permanent” (whatever that means), so that he can continue to have access those services.

I am afraid I agree with the main point of your comment, though I’d say there are some genuinely problematic things in the amendments. But you wouldn’t know it from this article, which offers no detail on precisely what the issue is with the amendments. Instead we get cultural buzzwords and adhd hipster in jokes. Policy analysis please!

The protests have a basis in actual performance.

I nearly wet myself laughing!!
We do not tax Glencore, Woodside, and a lot more Fossils.
The resources industry does not do heavy lifting, they employ accountants to ensure that they don’t “do” heavy lifting.

Stuart Robert’s man about deals and mate left the country rather than answer to a Senates hearing regarding “Disability housing” programs.
Does that help?
Risi Sunak’s wife’s income of 800,000,000 pounds (former PM of the UK) was taxed as a non permanent resident of the UK, and that income comes from her family’s companies with a number of enormous tech firms with lots of different governments’ contracts.
Any further help needed?

I also think this is appalling. As soon as Bill Short one(dollar) announced that one of the architects of RoboDebt was moving to the NDIA, I knew that the hyperbole and allegations of widespread rorting will follow, as it has!

Big Plan!

Identify vulnerable group to vilify.
Deny vilification, whilst making unsubstantiated allegations of widespread misuse of the NDIS.
Remove any human contact point because some public servants may have a conscious (Richard Boyle from the Tax Office in SA).
Keep denying the vilification program and hope that one or two terms in government will do it to retirement.
Line up job as consultant on computer/ Tech program which will have an extra zero or two in the contract for the firm involved.

As for growing the public service skills base, why do we not ask the signals directorate to consult on tech matters?
